The laws, procedures and methods surrounding short sales and short sale flips have changed dramatically in the last year.  In the current climate questions abound about structuring flips, the new HAMP process, the new Colorado regulations on short sales, new contract forms, disclosure requirements, etc. etc.

At the next Investor Advantage Lunch Training on March 10, 2010 we will cover the changes from A to Z.  Here is what we plan to cover:

• Short Sale Flips: We’ll examine the Colorado Real Estate Commission’s new regulations on short sales, and how to structure flips correctly and legally.  Well also examine the implications of HUD’s decision to temporarily waive its 90 day anti-flipping rule.
• Short Sale Contracts:  with option agreements, assignments, and various forms of contracts out there, we’ll examine what actually works, what to stay away from,  and what disclosures your contracts should contain.
• HAMP: With implementation of the HAMP short sale process in April you need to learn about the new processes now.
