Colorado Division of Real Estate Regulates Those Doing Loan Modifications

The Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Real Estate Division just issued a position statement on who can do loan modifications.  According to DORA, you need to be a licensed mortgage broker.  Anyone acting as a foreclosure consultant or loan modification specialist should read DORA’s statement.
